I have had a wonderful blogging week. I learned that WordPress allows you to schedule your posts. I don’t know if the other blog hosting sites do this, but what a neat trick. In the past, I saved my drafts as drafts. Then I had to remember to come back and publish my post at a later date. Well, this week I learned that I can change the Post Timestamp to a future date and time and my post will automatically publish itself on schedule. If you will notice, my posts for the last several days are time stamped at 4 AM. I am not awake at 4 AM; I didn’t even go to bed until almost midnight. How cool is that? Yet another time-saver that may enable me to continue to blog after I add two toddlers to my home at one time.
My obsession with watching Internet Search Terms that bring people to my blog has not improved. I have even developed a little paranoia about the whole thing. If I can track this sort of thing, you all can too. Last week I went to QuizFarm.com to take a test to determine my theological worldview. I didn’t post my results because, apparently, I don’t have one. I didn’t rate higher than 64% in any one theological stance. Anyway, after completing that quiz and dismissing the results as not useful, I clicked on either the ‘most popular’ or ‘highest rated’ quiz. I was embarrassed even reading the first question of the quiz I linked into. I can’t remember where I went next. I hope no one clicked on that link and spent time trying to figure out which of his or her readers came to their site after being on a raunchy quiz!
This blog will not be manned this weekend. My husband will finally be home and I plan on spending time with him. I have preloaded blog entries for Saturday and Sunday. While reviewing the searches that brought people to this site, I realized that many people that come to my blog to find answers leave without them. I have either not addressed their question in my blog or the answer would be difficult to find. I have selected a few searches and added my two cents.
I hope you all have a blessed and glorious weekend ~

Thanks for blogging about blogging. You have taught me a new trick with the scheduled posts. I had been saving drafts as well.
My most interesting search engine term was “I am a prostitute and I believe in God.” That person I wish I could have contacted.
Enjoy your time with your husband. I can relate. Mine returned home this week as well.

I learned about the schedule thing by accident. HSB definitely doesn’t have that – I tried once. It is a nice trick. I still keep mine as drafts because they mine tend to go through several revisions. For instance, my current entry went through about 3 tries before it started to come together. I’m still not sure it captured what I’m ruminating about – but it was as close as I could get. However, NO ONE would have wanted to see those earlier drafts!
I still haven’t gotten the nerve up to turn on “allow web searches” yet.

Well….here you are! I cannot lose track of you again! I thought about opening my blog back up on HSB, but I have decided not to. I can hardly keep up with one of them! How are you??? I have not been blog visiting in a while. Things are busy around here. We’re a bit behind in school, and trying to catch up, and I’ve been sick this week. I hope you have a great weekend with your family. Come visit me sometime…talk to you soon!
Love ~ Kathy
