Sisters, sisters?

Sisters, sisters?

Caring, sharing
Every little thing that we are wearing

Actually, this is Marissa and my mom at the Minnesota State Fair. They had gone shopping together at the Mall of America on the previous day and bought these matching shirts. Don’t they look great?

My mom and sister returned home to South Carolina yesterday. I went to the dentist this morning and have a real fake tooth instead of just a temporary crown. I have gotten used to fixing my hair. I don’t make it nearly as puffy as the lady at the beauty shop did.

We are starting school today. Marissa has already affirmed that she doesn’t have to get dressed today, “Mondays are pajama day.” When I reminded her that today wasn’t Monday, she said, “Alright then. The first day we do school in the week is pajama day.”

We’re not really off to that great of a start. Oh well, she didn’t transition well from summer to school when she was in public school either. And, then her poor transition would have been accompanied by a few calls from the principal, her special ed teacher and her bus driver and, perhaps, even a suspension. This is way better!

I will spend the next several days catching up on the life of my blog friends and wading through a plethora of emails.

Welcome back to the ole’ routine. I’ve declared today pajama day as well, and I’m the teacher.
Actually, perhaps I should get dressed before I go grocery shopping.
Your mom and Marissa look like 2 peas in a pod. How fun!

I thought I recognize those tall plants. We were at the fair on Friday.

We used to frequent the MOA (and IKEA) when we lived in Eagan. Now that we are on the other side of town, we have to plan it like a field trip!

Your mom and Marissa look so cute together. Your mom looks like alot of fun. I’m glad you were able to spend some quality time with her. Looks like some memories were made.
It’s good to have you back in blog-land!

My kids wanted to spend all day in their PJ’s, too, but then I realized that our library books were due today – so they had to get dressed. I like that rule, though…one day a week as a PJ day…I think my kids would like it, too!

Marissa and your mom look so cute together.
I have always wanted to get matching outfits with my girls. (But seeing as we mostly shop at rummage sales and thrift stores, I would say the chances are pretty slim of me ever finding anything in all of our sizes – lol!)

My kids are also having a tough time transitioning back to school – It is really making me consider ‘year-round’ schooling with them!

    Blessings,
    Michelle

    I am so glad you visited. It takes sometimes to pop in front of me to take notice. I have been canning like a maniac and putting on b-day parties AND trying to start school. I too haven’t really got school going smoothly …yet. [0;

God Bless my VERY SSiC (((hugs)))
