Edited to add: I found another photo of David. When I was in Haiti in July, David was still eating rice cereal and drinking formula out of a glass. It looks like he has graduated to beans and rice. I think he likes it!
On my summer short term missions trip to Haiti, I met Bryn. Bryn was going to Haiti to meet her nephews. While there, Haiti caught her. Bryn returned to Haiti in December to work as a dorm sister for the teens at HFC’s orphanage. She has been busy posting photos. And, Becky has been busy keeping me posted when a photo of either David and Beverly is posted.
I love the monthly photo updates I get. I am so glad that the orphanage staff has made sending us an update every month a priority. But, sometimes my kids don’t cooperate with the whole get your hair done, change into the nicest outfit we can find, stand here and smile for the camera thing. I like unposed photos of the kids too. And I have some! Thank you Bryn.
This photo of David almost brought tears to my eyes. The boy holding David is Camille. I fell in love with Camille when I was in Haiti. He is such a neat young man. Here is a photo of Camille I had taken in July.

That is a GORGEOUS picture of Beverly! I know exactly what you mean about the difference in pictures between what the agency sends and the “snapshots” that other people capture.
Boy, David is really growing~ he actually looks a bit chubby!
Can’t wait ’til you have them in your arms!

It’s funny how it happens that we fall in love with countries and people we never knew existed.
I agree, David is putting on some weight. I was cooing at his chubby little belly!

What beautiful pictures. I can understand how our heart pulls us to a certan country because I have been pulled to Eastern Europe. God Bless.
