I have been very tired lately. I am trying to pay close attention to my body. The two times in my life when I have been the most ill, my major overwhelming symptom was exhaustion. But, I am pretty sure I am not sick. I have tapped on my face, my sinuses seem okay. I am not getting out of breath with normal activity. My heart rate is okay. I don’t think my kidneys are on vacation again. Today, I figured it out; I think I am hibernating! My it is cold up here!
So, since I am just checking in, I am not going to power blog, nothing deep or profound will appear in the text of this entry. I will not discuss politics, religion or rocket science. Instead, I will review some of the weird search engine terms that have caused people to come to my blog.
Hanging out in the mall for socializatio(n). Socialization is about creating uniformity in society. In America’s consumer driven society, hanging out in the mall would be just about the best place to encourage your child to become a mindless consumer who has aligned his or her wardrobe and behavior as much like the rest of society as possible.
What do I need to do to maintain my lice? Why would anyone want to maintain them? When I did foster care every time my foster daughter came home from a visit at her dad’s home, she had lice. Short of shaving her head; I did everything I could to get rid of them.
Photos you have been looking for
- Funeral wagon wheel missing spoke. Apparently, these funeral arrangements were originally designed to pay tribute to a member of the Rotary Club who had died. The photos on these sites are copyrighted, but you can see samples at Blossom Flower Shops or Angel’s Touch Florist.
- Green Wedding Cake. Well, I don’t have a good photo, but I did have a green wedding cake. You see, my husband and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on our wedding. Invest in our marriage? You bet! Go into debt for a one afternoon event. Not! My husband couldn’t believe how much wedding cakes cost. His aunt offered a solution that worked well for us. We had small cakes made as centerpieces for each table. Each centerpiece cake was a different flavor. Guests were invited to scope out the cake flavor of their choice. We had a slightly larger cake for our wedding cake. Since my husband’s favorite cake is Chocolate-Mint, our wedding cake was too.
Deluxe cutting chaps in Minnesota. This is probably not really that weird a search term. Finding chaps in Minnesota is probably a difficult thing to do. Finding a great pair of chaps in Texas and ordering them, paying shipping and waiting for delivery may not always be desirable. But I still got a kick out of the term, because it brought the poor searcher to St. Justin Martyr: First Apology: Chaps. 1-11.
Wow to prune grapes imagines. Huh?

Oh, I love the wedding photo.
Hope you’re feeling better soon. I woke up this morning feeling like I’m coming down with something too. Ugh.

I love the idea of multiple wedding cakes!
I appreciate your comment yesterday about Dave’s nephrotic syndrome. I know he doesn’t feel well and I feel so badly for him but it’s interesting to know, from an adult perspective, how it feels. The few times I’ve consumed too much salt and been swollen up (or when I was in the last weeks of my pregnancies), I was miserable.

Those are funny searches!
I love the green wedding cake ( …and I love chocolate mint, too! Tell your DH ‘great choice!’)
I hear you about the hibernating. I fell so sluggish lately too. (I was attributing it to the factor that my cardiologist upped my meds, but I like your explanation better!) Spring cannot come soon enough!

I was just telling my husband how cold it is in your land as we discussed the chilling 15 degree temperatures here. I’d be hibernating too if the daily temperatures were below zero.
I got chilly looking at your wedding picture with your bare arms. Brrrr. What a wonderful cake idea!

Great picture!! Your cake is some pretty stiff competition!
I hope you are right about hibernating. Being seriously ill does not sound great.
About the scrapbooking, I figure at around $5 a page, it is still cheaper than the cost of all the embellishments, papers and waste that ‘real’ scrapbooking entails. Shipping (for me) is a flat rate, so if I save up my pages and do a big order…but I haven’t done it yet, so we’ll see.
Keep on giving us the search engine funnies. It brightens my day!!
