I love the play-by-play day - it's comforting to read familiarity.

When I had to renew my swim instructor's certificate, all they wanted was money. But I think someone got wise to that and now there's a little course.

"So, without having had anyone to die, our family got together! " lol ....sounds like my husband's side of the family, or mine past my sister and 2 nieces.

It sounds as though overall you had a nice week.....minus wet sheets and "new" carpet. : ) My Marissa, when she was younger, wrote with a sharpie on the carpet beside her bed. ugh.

I LOVE Beverly's quote. I am right there with her!!

I'd love to say I can relate to the bedroom situation, but mine is actually worse! It would take me a couple of days to dig mine out. It was already bad enough, then we piled a lot of Mairssa's and Daniella's things in there while we painted their room. I've been gone so much the last couple of weeks, that we haven't been able to put their room back together yet. sigh.....

Somehow I'm not surprised about the nursing course. The medical world's idea of "healthy" and what is really healthy are usually 2 different things. I' m glad you got your course out of the way, at least. I'm sure one day if you decide to put your skills back into practice, you will quickly gain that on the job training you need to be a terrific nurse.

So much in this post! Had to LOL at the get over it and act like a grownup thing. Did she think you'd just take the wheel while she gabbed?

Your house before the cleaning sounds a lot like mine is now. :]
